I never really knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, but one thing was always clear: I wanted to help people. That desire led me to Perth, Australia in 2017, where I partnered with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). During my time serving as a missionary, I discovered a deep passion for serving the Lord in my everyday work and was energized by making a real difference in people’s lives. I also developed a love for travel and a deep appreciation for different cultures.

I often wrestled with the tension between short-term mission outreaches and my desire to make a long-term, lasting impact. Through many confirmations, God made it clear that He was calling me into long-term ministry. While my time overseas was deeply valuable, I also recognized the need for sustainability- for the communities I served, but also for my own personal and spiritual well-being.

God led me to Hungry For Life, an international relief and development organization based in Chilliwack, BC. I now serve as the Executive Administrator, a role that allows me to use my administrative gifting to support long-term international projects, serve those in need, and share the good news of God’s love—all while remaining rooted in a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.

God continues to amaze me with how He provides in ways I never could have imagined. It’s so evident that this role at Hungry For Life is the perfect fit—aligning both my skills and God’s call on my life.

There is incredible, life-changing work happening through the partnerships that HFL facilitates across 15 countries around the world, and I’m so grateful to be part of the team making that possible.
