Hello Everyone!

HFL has hit the ground running this year! We’ve already completed four team trips, with three of those happening just this week. Additionally, over $139,000 has already been sent to our partners overseas. Meanwhile, our Canadian office has been bustling as we transition to new finance software, implement new systems through Microsoft Dynamics, and manage annual year-end reporting, including sending out tax receipts. For me personally, Ive been helping to prepare documents for our first board meeting of the year, annual board reporting, and planning some trips for our staff this year. It’s been a full season, and we’re grateful for our incredible team of passionate and dedicated staff who make it all happen!

Did you know that all of our staff either raise support for their salaries or serve as volunteers? Some of our staff have been with HFL for over 20 years—that’s an incredible testament to generosity, faith, and countless volunteer hours. The ongoing support and generosity toward our staff are truly inspiring, and we want to take a moment to celebrate that!
